Father,In this world of Your creation, we have chosenfalseness over truth;hatred over love;appearance over character;things over values;rules over relationship;the temporal over the eternal;our way over Yours. We have rejected Your love whilerunning straight into the arms of the enemy. Yet, still You reach for and long for Your children.A heartfelt cry, and You are hereoffering mercy for justice,grace for judgment,redemption for failure. We are poor and needy, Lord,but You are the storehouse of plenty.Shine Your light into our souls so we can discern truth. God,You are I AM,not I was or will be.You are here in the present with us.You see our hearts.You see our pain.You see our need,and You offer grace – for today.Help us truly live in Your strength and provision.Help us seek only You today.

Psalm 116:5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Joel 2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
