Overwhelmed by His Majesty

Today is the day that Wrapped in Grace launches. I am pretty overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by God's goodness. Overwhelmed by His grace. Overwhelmed by His faithfulness. Overwhelmed by the fact that He has brought me on this journey.

This song that I wrote several years ago has been circling through my head, so I thought it appropriate to share it on this special day. I pray that you are overwhelmed with me

by Jesus.

Overwhelmed by His majesty, humbled by His grace

I stand in awe that a King would die in my place.

I can’t help but wonder why He loved me so

But I’m glad He did, and I’m glad I know --

God so loved the world that He gave

His only Son my soul to save.

No other sacrifice could pay redemption’s price.

God so loved the world He gave.

Captured by His graciousness, supported by His love

Each day brings new blessing from my Father above.

Multitudes of mercy, grace so full and free,

Fill my soul with joy and I sing --

God so loved the world that He gave

His only Son my soul to save.

No other sacrifice could pay redemption’s price.

God so loved the world He gave.

I’m not up and coming in this world below

But when Jesus comes again, I will upward go

To live in the presence of the King of Kings.

Overwhelmed by His majesty I’ll sing --

God so loved the world that He gave

His only Son my soul to save.

No other sacrifice could pay redemption’s price.

God so loved the world He gave.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. I John 4:9, KJV

What overwhelms you (in a good way) today? Drop a note in the comments. I would love to know.
