Everyday Grace

Today, I will follow Christ

and leave beauty –

a smile,

a helping hand,

an encouraging word.

I will offer comfort

to someone who is struggling.

I will share His love today

in what I do,

in who I am,

in what I say.

I will let Jesus

shine through me.

I Peter 2:²¹ For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: ²² Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: ²³ Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: ²⁴ Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Father, may my heart be aligned with Your heart, my purpose with Your purpose, and let my actions make my words about You believable.
