Daily Prayer

Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me, and know my thoughts; and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.  Psalm 139:23-24

Father,

Give me grace and courage to walk with You today, to recognize right and uphold it, and to avoid the evil that will come my way.

Let my words be seasoned with salt and spoken in love.

Grant me the heart of a servant and hands that seek only to help.

May my feet be so busy following You that they cannot stray.

May my mind be set steadfastly on Your love.

Guard my heart so that it seeks only You.

I love You, Lord.  May my actions today prove it.
