Crowned With Glory

Crowned with glory, crowned with honor, Sun and shield in my black night. You alone dispel sin’s darkness. You alone provide my light.   Shield upon my head in summer, cover in the winter’s rain, ever giving strength and comfort ever sowing grace in pain.   As the sun has drawn the planets, so my soul is drawn to You. As its light shatters Earth’s darkness, Your Light guides my footsteps true.   All my heart cries for Your nearness. All I am clings to Your hand. Knowing strength lies in Your presence, in Your love my heart will stand.

Hebrews 2:But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
