I have no words, Lord.

No words that share the longings of my heart,

the burdens that oppress,

these needs I can’t express

overwhelm.

I have no words, Lord,

to share with You the pain of those I love.

I don’t know what to ask

I know that only You can meet these needs.

I have no words.

Father, hear my heart.

Spirit, pray for me.

Jesus, let Your love overcome today.

Father, show me

the task You have for me.

Guide my heart to see

Your righteous path,

and speak Your words.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God” (Romans 8:26 – 27, KJV).
