Christ in You

Did you see His artistry

in the color of the sunrise

when dawn’s first light

broke through the night?

Did you hear His voice

in the chorus of the birds

that sang their welcome

as sunlight streamed?

Did you feel His touch

in the whisper of the breeze

that softly brushed

to cool the day?

Did you take His hand

when you faced the tasks

that so consumed your fragile strength?

Did you feel His heart

when you passed the broken spirit

and saw the grief of that poor soul?

Our God is in each moment,

Each breath that whispers,

Each step that struggles forward.

He calls us to see Him,

To hear Him,

For Christ is in us,

Our Hope of glory.
