A Reminder

I have needed this reminder recently. I thought you might need it, too.

Does the sun refuse to bring the morning injust because the world is filled with grief and sin?Does the candle’s glow diminish in the night;can the darkness that surrounds exhaust its light?Or does the shine overcome making blackness scatterin the brightness of its glow?Light wins!Will I refuse to let His light shinefrom my heart in thedarkness of this time?Can I allow the night to overwhelmwhen Jesus, Himself, is at the helm?Or will I open my life,pouring out His loveto penetrate the dark?Light winsLight wins, no matter how dark the night has been.Light wins regardless of the blackness of the sin.When I’m threatened by defeat,I will let my heart repeat – Because God is still God,Light wins!
