I look backat the journey walkedand the storms braved; There on the muddy pathwhere my feet stumbledto find a way through the night,I see the footprints of the OneWho walked each step with me.

I look backat valleys and at mountaintops;sparkling rainbows breaking through rain, where good overcame timesof unrelenting pain, and I know I didn’t walk alone.I was held by the hand of the Father.

I look backat wind-tossed skiesas hurricanes and hail, blustering against my too-little strength, threatened me with hopelessness. But the blessings buoyed despiteSatan’s best thrown shot, and I know thatGod made all the difference.

I Kings 19: And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him (Elijah after the battle with the false prophets), and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Psalm 23 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Isaiah 43: …..Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour:
