Reckless Love

Loved so recklessly by the One Who risked all Heaven for my soul, relinquishing His throne, with glory His due, to walk Earth’s paths of darkness searching for me.
Were I the only lost sheep He would have come, cutting through the foliage of sin, climbing the rocks of depravity, to offer Himself for my rescue.
How could He justify such lavish sacrifice for one clothed in rags of self-righteousness, pride, and greed?
How could He look beyond the detritus of my sin to see me, the sinner?
Reckless, amazing, unspeakable, redeeming love – His gift.
I John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God:
