“What did you get for Christmas?”

This is the infamous question that begins every post-Christmas conversation. Whether you are nine or ninety, inquiring minds want to know –

“What did you get?”

This year, I am preempting the question. I already know what I got for Christmas, because over fifty years ago, on December 20^th, I trusted Christ as my Savior. That year, I got an eternal Christmas gift, and it will never stop being new.

So, here is my answer to the question about my Christmas gifts.

What did I get for Christmas?

• A brand-new heart

• A soul washed clean

• The Best Friend ever

• Life and purpose

• Joy unspeakable

• Peace beyond understanding

• Grace for every need

• Love, boundless love

• A home in Heaven

• The Everlasting Father

• Light for my darkness

• Hope for the future

• Grace

• Mercy

I got everything I will ever need and more, because when Jesus came,

He came for me!

What will you get this Christmas?
