Peace

John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

God’s peace is not the absence of turmoil and conflict; it is instead grounded in His absolute trustworthiness and calmness in trouble.

Peace is the knowledge that God is bigger than my every circumstance.
