I Know

Sometimes I am confused.

Sometimes my soul is shaken by the evil in this world.

Sometimes Psalm 82:5 describes my life –

“All the foundations of the earth are out of course.” –

and I feel like I am trying to step where the land is falling away,

stone by stone,

under my feet.

My soul sinks.

When this happens, I have learned to stop.

Instead of concentrating on my confusion, I concentrate on what I KNOW.

I KNOW –

• God IS good.

• God IS love.

• God loves me.

• God has a plan for me. I am not in this place by mistake or whim.

• God IS truth.

• God IS the ultimate authority, and He is in control.

• God HOLDS me.

• God IS faithful and trustworthy.

• God IS.

I can rest in Him.

Psalm 10:16 The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

Psalm 47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
