Advent

As we begin this Advent season, this time of remembering the birth of our Lord, I echo the thoughts of Dietrich Bonhoeffer –

“May God in His mercy lead us through these times, but above all may He lead us to Himself.”

Psalm 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psalm 43:3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me;
