The Language of God

Praise is the language of God. Praise lifts our eyes from the trouble of this world and places them solely on the mighty God.

Praise lifts our hearts from surrounding sorrow and holds us in the eternity of God.

Praise lifts our hands, which flutter in frustration, and opens them to serve and receive God’s blessing.

Praise takes us from complaint to compassion, from guilt to grace, from sorrow to singing from weakness to strength.

Praise tunes the heart to God, because praise is His language.

Hebrews 13:15 – By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
