The Gospel Changes Everything

“The Gospel changes everything.”

I drove on thinking about that. In my life, the Gospel has changed everything. 

It changed my status –

I once was lost, but now I am found. 

It changed my destination –

I was bound for Hell,but now Heaven is my eternal Home. 

It changed my purpose –

I once sought only to please myself,but now I want to please Christ. 

It changed my mental health –

I once lived in guilt,but now I live in forgiveness. 

It changed my outlook –

The joy of the Lord is my strength. 

It changed my attitude –

I once saw only the darkness in this world,but now Christ has filled my life with light. 

It changed my lifestyle –

I once lived according to thepriorities and actions of this world,but now I live for Christ. 

It changed my emotions –

I once lived in fear,but His love has cast out fear. 

It changed what I love –

I once loved this world,but now my affections are set on things above. Yes, the Gospel has changed everything for me. Everything! Has the Good News of Christ changed everything for you?
