Live It – Out Loud!

What if we went to church on Sunday and the preacher did not preach?
What if he stood and said, “I have no need to speak anything, because the word of the Lord has sounded throughout our community and world in the words and lives of believers? (I Thessalonians 1:8)
What if we lived our faith so loud unbelievers accused us of turning the world upside down? (Acts 17)
What if instead of protesting the actions of the world we began proclaiming the risen Savior Who is able to save to the uttermost all who come to Him? (Hebrews 7:25)
That is what happened in the church of Thessalonica. Christians were living their faith and speaking their faith everywhere. They were following God’s purpose for their lives.
They had turned from their idols to serve a living and true God.
God’s purpose for our lives is the same as it was for the Thessalonians.
It isn’t too late for us to begin living out loud for Him today – speaking and living our faith.
Our pastors would probably rejoice in the respite.
I Thessalonians 1:6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.
7 So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
