I’ve Been Thinking

In this world we live in, we are bombarded by darkness. We can easily be caught in the whirlwind of negative thinking. God offers a different perspective. He tells us to think on the good things. In Philippians 4:8, read the instructions Paul gave to the church at Philippi.

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever, things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Here are the thoughts that I am starting my day with today.

·       I am a child of The King.[1]

·       I am not condemned.[2]

·       My life, my soul, my eternity is secure in Jesus.[3]

·       The Creator God is my Father.[4]

·       My God will supply all my need.[5]

·       God is my Rock and my Fortress.[6]

·       The Lord is my Shepherd, and I am His sheep.[7]

·       I will not fret, for my Father is in control.[8]

·       God’s plans for me are good.[9]

·       I have a home in Heaven.[10]

·       God’s promises are sure and certain.[11]

·       The Lord reigns.[12]

·       Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.[13]

·       There is no fear in love. God is love.[14]

·       God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.[15]

·       God’s grace is sufficient for my every need.[16]

·       Jesus loves me.[17]

·       Jesus. Loves. Me.

Father, when I immerse myself in Your word there is not much room left for negative thinking. You provide everything I need. You are my King and You are in control regardless of what it looks like in this world today. I choose to walk by faith in You, just like Abraham and Noah and Peter and Paul. When I falter today, Lord, and knowing me I probably will, let Your Holy Spirit remind me. You are so good like that. You are just good, and I am thankful. In Jesus sweet name I pray.
