Having My Say

I’ve heard it said

that growing old

gives me certain rights

to have my way

and have my say

whatever comes to mind;

But as my hair

grows whiter still

and age my body stains,

may all my words

show kindness and

bring honor to Christ’s name.

Titus 2:7-9 ⁷ In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing  uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, ⁸ Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
