Faithful and True

Truth is a word that is much talked about but little practiced in our world today. We struggle to unravel the different accounts and perspectives as factions shout out their facts, and we see those facts pressed and stretched like modeling clay to form the “truth” of the moment.

There is only one place that we can be assured of finding truth, though. That is in the One Who is truth. When the words of the world clang falsely, look to His word to find the Truth that can make you free.

John 14:Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Everywhere I look I see confusion –Conflict in the things we say and do.My heart struggles with the musicshouted out by voices untrue.Still, my heart hopes in each morningas dawn’s colors burst into view.In God’s embrace I am covered by grace,For He is faithful and true. I will look beyond the trials of this life.I will trust in God’s perfect plan.He will bring me through the circumstances;In His strength alone I stand.My heart seeks out His blessingAs I wait for strength to renew,for I know that His promises are so - My God is faithful and true.My God is faithful and true.He will do what He said He would do.Come what may I will always say,My God is faithful and true.

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
