Shepherds watched in wonder the Child in the manger bed. A lowly stall, the throne of God, Just as the angel said.
Could a birth so humble bring God into sight? A mother mild with one small child will change the world tonight.
Day Star shining brightly in the dark of night. One so small the Lord of all, Everlasting Light.
Into a world of darkness bound by chains of sin, Christ brought Light – everlasting Life – to dawn in the hearts of men.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
II Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
