A Present for the Father

Jude ²⁴ Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, ²⁵ To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

When the day of death shall finally come, And I no longer walk bound In the grip of this world’s grasp, I shall see my Father.

When the tyranny of time has released its hold on me, And eternity rushes in To claim my soul, I shall see my Father.

Then I will fully know the outrageous Love given to me Through the sacrifice of my Lord Christ, Who bought me for my Father.

And I will fall prostrate before this One Who purchased me – Cleansed and redeemed me – Who kept my wandering heart A present for my Father.

I am Christ’s present to the Father.
